Roots “Coskun Release” Dry Gin

A limited release of Roots Marlborough Dry Gin with the addition of fenugreek, rose petals and manuka leaves.

Designed and distilled by the 2020 winner of the Show Us Your Roots Cocktail Competition. A recipe inspired by the winning cocktail and the botanical story that showed their roots.

TASTING NOTES:

A grapefruit and hibiscus nose balances a juniper forward palate with citric hop characters with a lingering spiced date finish.

PROCESS:

Distilled in a single shot run by a 200L copper pot still. Core botanicals macerated for 24 hours in advance with flowers added to vapor basket for enhanced aromatics.

• Organic fenugreek (Golden Fields, Canterbury, NZ)
• Rose petals (Kumeu Flower Farm, Kumeu, NZ)
